REV. GABRIEL CHURN, JR.
Reverend Gabriel P. Churn, Jr., the son of Mrs. Dolores R. Churn and the late Reverend Dr. Gabriel P. Churn, Sr., the proud father of Gabriel Churn, III and Christian Churn, accepted the call to preach in December 2002. He was licensed into the ministry on July 6, 2003, and was ordained and elevated to the Ecclesiastical titles of and offices of Reverend Clergy and Elder on July 4, 2004.
Rev. Churn was installed as the Assistant Pastor of the Union Temple Congregation (UTC) in October 2004; voted and formally installed as Co-Pastor in January 2006. In October 2007 he became the Pastor of UTC and was installed on April 6, 2008. Under his leadership souls came to Christ, new ministries were created, major church renovations occurred, trainings were implemented, community outreach efforts expanded across the city, etc. He served as Pastor at UTC for over 14 years.
In December 2021, as guided by the Holy Spirit, Relaunch Nation was birthed under the visionary leadership of its Pastor and Founder, Rev. Churn. Relaunch Nation is a Kingdom-driven, Christ-centered Ministry that focuses on the holistic development of all people. As a result of Pastor Churn’s innovative vision, unique style of presenting the Gospel, promotion of quality and excellence in fellowship functions, worship experiences, and spiritual lives for the Lord, Relaunch Nation bears the distinction and reputation throughout the communities as a multi-generational congregation that spiritually and socially brings people from all walks and stages of life into a unified family of faith.
Pastor Churn serves the Lord wholeheartedly and is committed to doing God’s Holy Will. He walks in the power of the Holy Spirit. He also holds the distinction of being the Chaplain to Baltimore City Police Department and serves as Chaplain to one of the most renowned funeral establishments in Baltimore city, the Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Home.
